For those new to this blog, you should know that it is one of the oldest on the MLBlog Network. I started it in May of 2005, the same year MLBlogs started and the same year the White Sox happened to win the World Series. That was just lucky, but it allowed me to document some of the best games of my life right here on Sox Pride. I am currently finishing up my undergraduate studies in journalism at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I will graduate in May and will be starting at WGN Radio 720 in Chicago as the sports intern. Right now I am writing for the Big Ten Network, the Capital Times in Madison, The Daily Cardinal and I do a radio show on WSUM 91.7FM Madison called "The Student Section" every Tuesday and Thursday from 4-6 p.m. The show can be heard worldwide at www.wsum.org and our show blog can be found at http://buckyinsider.blogspot.com. While I have been morphed into a Badger, I am certainly not a cheesehead. My roots lie in the Lincoln Park area of Chicago where I grew a North Side White Sox fan. I represent the Bears hard up here in Packer territory every year and I share the frustrations of being a Bulls fan right now. I hope to contribute more often this season with a unique blend of a journalistic style combined with the joyous and heartbreaking experiences of being a die-hard White Sox fan.
